Peter Hunter

Peter Hunter is the UNISON Regional Manager for the North of Scotland. He also leads UNISON’s organising, equality, legal, education and social care work.

Peter is a former director of the Scottish Low Pay Unit and his main areas of interest include low pay, pay equality, human rights and access to justice.

He has held a variety of roles in adult social care including advocacy, peer support, governance and management of a self-funded elder care facility.

Peter has served as a lay member of the Employment Appeal Tribunal for 24 years.
