Today we welcome Tracy Gilbert as a new member of the Fair Work Convention. Tracy is the Scottish Regional Secretary for USDAW (Union of Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers). Prior to joining USDAW in 2000 through the TUC Academy she was a full Time lay official with Unison working in local government.
Tracy said:
“I am delighted to be joining the Fair Work Convention and am looking forward to contributing and getting involved in helping deliver fair work to Scotland’s workers.”
Fair Work Convention co-chairs Mary Alexander and Patricia Findlay added:
“Tracy is someone with considerable insight relevant to the fair work agenda. We believe that she will make a valuable contribution to the work of the Convention and we are looking forward to working alongside her.”
